Thank you for visiting Short 'n' Savory! This is my very first blogging excursion. My intent is to document my journey into the magnificent world of dietetics while cooking and experiencing life as it comes. I began this journey in 2007 when I started my undergrad as a dietetic student in California. I graduated one year ago (almost exactly) and have since been teaching nutrition to elementary age children. It is an amazing job to have! Before becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD) I will need to complete my dietetic internship through an accredited program and take the RD exam. It is a long road and I hope to enjoy it the whole way as well as share it with the few who may be following the same path.
